| So the last few months of beautiful free cable are at an end. The cable company came and cut the cable to our whole building today.
So of course I now have way too much time on my hands. While Brett was crawling under the building, figuring out a way to reconnect the cable, I surfed the web... and came across the EK website. I read Fra Fra's bio... and saw that her birthday wasn't correct.
Why, why did I feel compelled to write to the new alumni coordinator to tell her the correct date?
Oi, I need a new hobby... or my cable back.

| I had a pretty good weekend, besides all of the driving.
Brett
and I drove up to Woodland for my good friend's baby shower... she is
the most adorable pregnant woman ever! It was really great to spend the
afternoon with so many of my middle school and high school friends.
On
Sunday, Brett and I met with our pastor for our first pre-marital
counseling session... we had to take a questionierre that will
highlight some of the strengths and 'growth areas' in our
relationship... we had scantrons and everything. In one section we had
to rate how much we agreed or disagreed with certain statements... my
favorite two?
1. Getting married will solve any and all difficulties in our relationship. 2. Having children will make our relationship easier.
Besides
all that, I started my new job three weeks ago and even though I'm not
fully trained yet, I really really enjoy working more then being a
student.

| So today I officially filed my thesis... it was a huge pain... I
couldn't find the right paper anywhere, my counselor sent in the wrong
language petition and I had to wait behind 12 people to finally meet
with the crazy thesis/dissertation advisor (who approves the
manuscripts). Now all I have to do is pick up my certificate of
completion next week and it's all over! Yay!

| Today was a terrible day. The final draft of my thesis is due next Monday... and I'm a procrastinater... so today I gave a draft of my thesis to two of my profs. One said, "Wow, you actually have a draft to give me already?" The other said that he wouldn't be able to read it in time and then said, "I should have had this for four weeks, not one." Hmmm... so if he doesn't read my thesis, I'm worried that he won't sign my committee form... does that mean I won't graduate? | | |
| So a friend of mine from school had a baby yesterday. I was driving to go and drop off dinner for the new parents today and I noticed that the car infront of me had a license plate that said "Me (Heart) Band"- then I noticed the University of Arizona license plate holder.... of course it was Dawn Farmer!
It's a really small world. | | |
